"For Pete's Sake"

Dear Friends:
Since losing our beloved son, Peter, to a brain tumor in 2002, we have been devoted to helping find a cure for brain tumors so no other family must endure the pain of losing a loved one.  With the help of good friends like you, over $420,000 has been donated to support research breakthroughs, clinical trials, and the newest therapies. We are so proud and thankful for your generosity and support of our efforts.

We wanted to let you know that we are taking a break this year and will not be planning a 2013 “4 Pete’s Sake” fundraiser.  However, we have not lost our passion and desire to continue to fund the work being done at the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke.  We hope you will consider making a gift this year, and “4 Pete’s Sake” will be back next year to continue our fight for every family who must face this daunting disease.

We can never adequately express our appreciation to you for your generosity and dedication to honor Peter’s life. We are strongly committed to winning this battle and bringing hope to all brain tumor patients so they can live a long and happy life with their family and friends.
